Stop by the Historic Poor Farm on Wednesday, October 7 from 4:00 - 5:30pm to enjoy a 1.5 mile hike led by Johnson County Conservation staff through the Historic Poor Farm’s natural areas. We will observe the native plants in the prairie, discuss the pollinators that inhabit the area as a result, and consider the relationship between pollinators and the crops being produced just feet away in the gardens. Registration is required for this free, all-ages event. Restrooms and a water fountain/bottle fill station are available onsite.
