Barn Dance & Social!

Did you know that the Historic Poor Farm has a Disability Advisory Committee (DAC)? The DAC advises on the physical development of the site as well as programming and outreach.

The DAC is having a barn dance! This public event is intended for DAC members and their guests, the disability community in Johnson County, and ally friends who would like to join us. To facilitate an environment of connection, whether reuniting with old friends or making new ones, guests must be 18 or older to attend. Formal wear/western wear is not required but welcome. RSVP required.

Where and when will the dance be?

The dance will be Saturday, October 17 from 4 - 6pm at the Historic Poor Farm's Livestock Barn (the westernmost red barn). The address is 4811 Melrose Avenue in Iowa City, IA.
