Who We Are
Many hands come together to make the Historic Poor Farm what it is.
Johnson County Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is Johnson County's legislative body composed of five members. Supervisors are elected at large and serve a four-year term.

The development of the Historic Poor Farm is led by its 10-year master plan, which was passed by the Johnson County Board of Supervisors in 2017. You can learn more about them and their work here.

Since everything at the farm is a team effort, it only makes sense that our leadership would reflect that. Our managers team draws from the Johnson County Board of Supervisors office, Iowa Valley Resource Conservation & Development, and the Johnson County Historical Society.

Everything at the farm is a team effort, so it only makes sense that our leadership would reflect that.
